  • Acupuncture is covered by most commercial insurance companies. These include Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, NYSHIP Empire Plan, 1199, VACCN, Cigna, and more. The only plans likely not covered are Medicaid plans.

  • Cash payment is available and we charge only $60 a visit. For initial evaluations and herbs, additional charges apply.

  • The ultimate time to recovery varies from person to person. Generally, acute syndromes are relieved much more quickly than chronic ones. This means: time to recovery can greatly vary from just 1 day, to 12+ months. We always suggest at least 1 month of acupuncture to see effective results.

  • We can confidently say that YES, acupuncture helps with so many diseases and syndromes that it may surprise you! With enough treatments, you will see remarkable improvements. The key is to never give up on your road to recovery!

  • Please continue taking any prescribed medications and consult your primary care physician about them. If you are currently undergoing other therapies, do not stop unless instructed by your physician.

  • Yes! We see this question a lot. In the USA, acupuncturists practice the Clean Needle Technique, which not only means needles are one-time-use only, but we also take dozens of other precautions to keep the treatment as clean and sterile as possible.
